The personal data indicated on this page are processed by the Municipality in the performance of its public interest tasks or in any case related to the exercise of its public powers, for purposes that fall within its institutional tasks or for compliance with legal or regulatory obligations. Personal data will also be processed in relation to the services offered by the Municipality of Citerna through its portal, exclusively for purposes that fall within its institutional tasks or for compliance with legal or regulatory obligations. Within these purposes, the processing also concerns data related to registrations/subscriptions to the portal, necessary for managing relationships with the Municipality of Citerna, and to allow effective institutional communication and compliance with any legal, regulatory or contractual obligations.
Place and Methods of Processing
The processing of data connected to the site’s web services takes place mainly at the Municipality of Citerna and, where necessary, in collaboration with other subjects specifically designated as data controllers. The processing of data takes place for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes through the use of automated tools, observing security measures aimed at preventing data loss, unlawful or incorrect uses and unauthorized access. Personal data of users who request documents or information material (newsletters, responses to queries, acts and provisions, etc.) is used only to carry out the requested service or performance and is communicated to third parties only if necessary (shipping services, etc.). Access to the site involves the recording of data used for the sole purpose of ensuring correct functioning. These data include the IP addresses and/or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and computer environment. While these data are not collected for the purpose of identifying users, their nature could allow identification through processing and association with data held by third parties, especially when it is necessary to establish responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mails to the addresses indicated in the different access channels of the site and the completion of forms (masks) entail the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data entered in the letter. In this case, the acquired data will be processed exclusively to respond to user requests, for example, on the use of a service, problems with connecting to the site, problems with navigating the site, problems with accessing the site’s services, or problems accessing their account. In order to better contextualize the question, users may be contacted by e-mail, telephone or other communication systems by an operator appointed by the Administration. Further, specific summary information will be reported or displayed on the site pages prepared for specific services on request.
Compulsory or Voluntary Nature of Providing Data.
Apart from what is specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide the personal data reported in the request forms or indicated in contacts with the Municipality of Citerna for sending communications or any documentation. Failure to provide the data (such as personal data, e-mail address, telephone number) necessary to provide the service may result in the impossibility of obtaining what is requested.
