citerna by CAR AND CAMPER
From north and south, take the San Giustino exit of the E45 and follow the signs for Citerna. Coming from Arezzo, after the highway exit, continue after the village of Monterchi and follow the signs for Citerna. The historic center of the village can only be accessed by car by residents, but there are ample and numerous parking lots just outside the walls.
For Camper, 500 meters from the village, adjacent to a recreational area (with bar and toilets), there is a large parking area with loading and unloading facilities.
gift shop and info point
In the center of Citerna’s village, at the entrance of the municipal palace, there is an info point for tourists. Here, there is a shop selling books and souvenirs, and it is possible to book visits for the Church Museum of San Francesco and the Donatello’s Madonna.
The info point is open every day, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 15:00 to 18:00.
